SOWK 2053 - HUMAN BEHAVIOR & SOCIAL ENVIRON I This course focuses on skill development in assessing “person-in-environment” throughout the life cycle, utilizing ecological systems thinking. It is a foundation social work course that is aimed at helping students acquire basic knowledge of human functioning from a broad perspective. It is a study of the interaction of biological, psychological, sociological, cultural, spiritual, and systemic influences on human functioning.
