NURS 3113 - PHARMACOLOGY


This course prepares students to integrate pharmacologic principles into the care of patients and to administer drugs, with consideration to safety, lifespan, cultural, legal and ethical implications. Drugs affecting cardiac, renal, respiratory, endocrine, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and central/autonomic nervous systems, as well as anti-infective, anti-inflammatory and chemotherapeutic agents are presented. Relevant nursing interventions, including patient education, are emphasized. Open to RN to BSN students only.

Prerequisite: Student must be Current RN in the State of Florida and accepted into RN-BSN Bridge Program
