PCOU 5143 - SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING

This course examines the motivation, addition, and behavior patterns of the drug/alcohol user. Different approaches to substance abuse counseling will be investigated. A portion of the course will be devoted to substance abuse assessment, and the evaluation of the series and programs available to the substance abuse user and the impacts on society.
