EDUC 8003 - CURRICULUM THEORY, CONCEPTS, AND DESIGN This course is an examination of the theoretical constructs of curriculum, taking into consideration the functional and developmental process of curriculum. An understanding of the development and implementation of curriculum will be explored by examining philosophical and theoretical perspectives. In-depth analysis of design models will be conducted and applied to the assessment of learner outcomes. The relationship of curriculum development to teaching and learning will be emphasized.
