LANG 1053 - INTRODUCTION TO THE ARABIC LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

This course introduces students to the Arabic language and script and surveys Middle Eastern culture, the fundamentals of Islam, and the significance of Islam in the contemporary Middle East, identifying conventions and major historical events in the Middle East and Islamic world.
