HONR 3033 - HONORS UNDERSTANDING HUMAN DIVERSITY
Examines the complex nature of culture and personal identity, explores populations at-risk, and encourages students to understand and appreciate diversity. Specific knowledge of individual cultures, awareness of the patterns of oppression experienced by those cultures, and skills relevant to developing a culturally competent approach to working with diverse people groups are addressed.
