EDUC 8123 - TEACHING AND LEARNING WITH STUDENTS OF POVERTY


This course addresses the specific learning and developmental needs of students living in poverty.  In-depth research will be examined on the impact of poverty on children, the systems that perpetuate poverty, the structures that disrupt poverty, and instructional strategies to better meet the needs of students living in poverty.
