MUSC 1133 - MUSIC THEORY I This course is a study of fundamental musical concepts with emphasis on notation, rhythm, key signatures, intervals, scales, major/minor tonality, and chord construction found in Western music. Must have passing score on theory placement exam, or successful completion of MUSC 1002. By audition only.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: Placement test required, or passing grade of C or higher in Intro to Theory (MUSC 1002)
Corequisite: MUSC 1042
