NURS 313L - PSYCHIATRIC NURSING CLINICAL

This course provides an opportunity for students to develop beginning level competence in caring for patients with mental health/substance abuse issues. These clinical hours are shared between simulation laboratory developing skills and direct patient care specific to care of the mental health patient.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite: NURS 3003 - Health Assessment
                     NURS 300L - Health Assessment Skills Lab
                     NURS 3106 - Foundations of Nursing Care
                     NURS 310L - Foundations of Nursing Care Clinical

                     NURS 3223 - Essentials of Pathophysiology

Co-requisite:  NURS 3124 - Applied Pharmacology
