NURS 4233 - ROLE OF THE NURSE EDUCATOR


This course is designed to prepare baccalaureate nursing students to become a nurse educator in a variety of healthcare or community settings.  Concentration is focused on the role of the nurse educator teaching nursing staff and patients.  An overview includes teaching in healthcare organizations, community settings, and at the bedside with an introduction to academic faculty responsibilities.   Students will learn the process of developing courses and obtaining continuing education credits.
