ESED 5663 - AUTISM AND SPECTRUM RELATED DISORDERS

This course is designed to increase students’ understanding of Autism and Spectrum Related Disorders.  The course explores the definition and classification criteria for Autism and Spectrum Related Disorders.  Students will examine strategies that foster the academic, social and behavioral development of students with Autism and Spectrum Related Disorders. In addition, students will explore collaboration with stakeholders for students with Autism and Spectrum Related Disorders. Strategies for differentiating the instruction of students with Autism and Spectrum Related Disorders is emphasized.
