ENGL 2303 - GREEK AND ROMAN LITERATURE Examination of Hesiod’s Theogony, Homer’s Iliad, and other masterworks of Greek and Roman literature. Origins, genealogies, and mythologies of Greek gods are charted and examined in relation to literature and culture of the period. Students will focus on the foundations of Western civilization in relation to human virtue, leadership, and worldview.
