Select one: Pre-Biology Core - 20 Hours
A Student desiring to declare a major in either General Biology or Biology/Pre-Medicine must first complete the Pre-Biology Core studies with a “C-” or better, and must select the Pre-Biology Program for freshmen and sophomores until these courses have been successfully completed. Some of these courses are cross-referenced as General Education Core Requirements.
Major Core - 50 Hours
Students are required to earn a grade of “C-” or better in all Biology courses.
Biology Core Studies - 13 Hours
Biology Specialization - Minimum of 20 Hours from the Following:
Students may enroll for two different Special Topics ( BIOL 4633, 4643 or 4653) courses to count towards the required 17 hours.
Chemistry and Physics - 18 Hours
Students are required to earn a grade of “C-” or better in all Chemistry and Physics courses.
General Electives - 6 Hours
Total Program hours - 122 Hours
