The Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership-Humanitarian Ministry track (BSMLH) allows students to build, refine, and expand their ministry skills while ensuring a broad, robust foundation in theology, the Bible, spiritual development, church ministry, leadership principles, and ecclesiastical operations. The final 18 hours of the BSMLH major core focuses on key competencies for humantarian/compassion ministry leadership in domestic contexts: a practical theology of compassion ministry, understanding populations who are being impacted by disaster/poverty, effectively utilizing professional mental health resources in the context of crisis, and advocating for the poor/suffering through effective interactions with governmental decision makers.
