PSYC 4233 - EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY I This course is a study of the methods and problems in psychological experimentation. Emphasis is on developing general research skills that can be applied within any area of psychology. These skills include knowledge of experimental design and implementation, statistics, report writing, and ethical standards of research. Further emphasis include developing the capacity for evaluating “scientific evidence” that is presented and communicated in journals, magazines, newspapers, news programs and other media outlets.
