ESED 5643 - INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES FOR STUDENTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES This course is designed to provide students with broad overview of the areas of intellectual disabilities, formerly referred to as mental retardation, and developmental disabilities. There is a particular emphasis on adaptations and modifications to the regular curricular materials, as well as techniques for teaching functional skills.
