COMM 4853 - MEDIA CRITICISM This course is an advanced study of the rhetorical principles that guide the analysis of media products. Critical analysis of media texts is emphasized. Students will learn to observe, analyze and critique visual media texts from the perspective of the media professional working in media industries to create or improve media products. The course is appropriate for students seeking careers in media creation professions.
