PSYC 3253 - FAMILY VIOLENCE This course studies family maltreatment. Major topics include child physical abuse, psychological abuse, neglect, child sexual abuse, investigation of child abuse cases, sexual offenders, domestic violence batterers and victims, and elder maltreatment. Each topic is approached by exploring interacting explanations at a variety of levels, including social and cultural, family and individual.
