CRIM 2323 - CRITICAL ISSUES IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE This course is a study of current issues and debates that affect the criminal justice system. The curriculum includes an examination and discussion on all aspects and view points of the critical issues faced by professionals within the criminal justice system. Topics for discussion include but are not limited to: public policy implications, media’s involvement in the criminal justice system, diversity, workforce generations, criminal justice training, terrorism, shift in types of crime and prevention, and public perceptions of criminal justice professionals.
