NURS 3013 - NURSING HISTORY AND THEORY This course provides an introduction of the history of nursing and the nursing theories developed throughout the eras of nursing practice. The discussion of history nursing will guide the different nursing theories discussed from Nightingale to present day. It will include the development of nursing theory including components and concepts found in nursing theories. The connections between theory and their importance for practice and the nursing profession will be discussed.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: NURS 3204 Transition to BSN Role and NURS 3214 Health Assessment
Co requisite: NURS 3153 Research & Evidence-Based Practice
