AVIP 3023 - COMMERCIAL PILOT FLIGHT I - FLIGHT TRAINING This course introduces students to airplane ground and flight operations, take-off and landing, advanced flight maneuvers, cross-country methods, night flying, and emergency procedures appropriate for a commercial pilot. Includes flight instruction in single-engine basic and complex aircraft and simulators. Prepares students for the required FAA Commercial Pilot Airplane Practical Test. Credit may be granted for presenting a valid FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate. Students must possess an FAA Class 2 or above Medical Certificate and be at least 17 years old. The course should be taken concurrently with AVIP 3013. Some students may require additional hours of flight instruction beyond the course minimum to pass the course.
