MUSC 1112 - WORSHIP MUSIC THEORY I A study of fundamental musical concepts with emphasis on notation, rhythm, key signatures, intervals, scales, and chords. Special emphasis will be placed on the practical application of music theory in teaching contemporary worship music, and directing worship team rehearsals.
Prerequisites & Notes Prerequisite: Passing score on the worship music theory placement exam or passing grade of a “C” or higher in Introduction to Music Theory, which may be taught as part of Worship Practicum at each
extension site.
Corequitite: MUSC 1151 Worship Aural Theory I
