LDRS 5423 - LEADING TEAMS Leading teams involves managing different personalities, cultures, conflicting political agendas, and varying skill levels while simultaneously securing resources and managing expectations of senior stakeholders. This course focuses on group dynamics and the principles of building highly effective teams. Students will receive theoretical and practical knowledge about small group interactions, often learning through participation in hands-on group activities that demonstrate and reinforce the textual material. Emphasis is placed on leadership skills, subordinate participation, power dynamics, and team problem-solving.
