NURS 4332 - QUALITY AND SAFETY

This course explores the concepts of quality and safety in healthcare, including evidence-based care, nurse-sensitive indicators, patient centered care, working conditions, and patient safety and quality tools. Students learn strategies to collect and analyze data related to the safety and quality of selected processes and recommend changes as necessary.

Prerequisite:  NURS 3124 - Applied Pharmacology
NURS 3133 - Psychiatric Nursing
NURS 313L - Psychiatric Nursing Clinical
NURS 3144 - Medical-Surgical Nursing I
