BIBL 4013 - JEWISH AND EARLY CHRISTIAN APOCALYPTIC LITERATURE This course is a literary and theological study of Jewish and early Christian apocalyptic literature, including an analysis of the historical setting, language, and special symbolism in Daniel, Enoch literature, 4 Ezra, 2 Baruch, the Sibylline Oracles, the Qumran apocalyptic literature, Revelation, and the Shepherd of Hermas. The professor may overview all of this literature or emphasize one or more specific books.
