EDUC 6973 - Church, State, and Higher Education
The Supreme Court has ruled on several cases involving church and state. In this course, we will explore the cases that have an impact on higher education. We will also explore the historical nature of church and state and identify pertinent legislation. Special attention will be given to the free exercise and establishment clauses of the First Amendment. We will also identify the roles, benefits, and challenges facing Christian higher education.
