KINS 4533 - CARE AND PREVENTION OF INJURIES This course introduces students to entry-level knowledge of sport-related injuries. The course provides an overview of the history of athletic injuries and includes the basic anatomy of common injuries in athletics, the evaluation procedures of such injuries, the preventative measures to reduce the incidence of injuries, and the basic treatment and rehabilitation procedures that are used after an injury occurs. Additionally, the course includes the completion of cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
