LANG 2023 - LATIN II

This course continues to build a firm framework for the Latin language by emphasizing advanced syntax, vocabulary, and Latin grammar forms. This course is a continuation of the study from Latin I. Attention will be given to the ideas and lifestyle of ancient writers of Latin. Building on Henle Second Year Latin, students will translate the writings and understand the history associated with Julius Caesar’s Gallic Wars and the death of Caesar.
