MUSC 3812 - CHORAL METHODS

This course provides prospective secondary music teachers with an overview of the materials, learning outcomes, teaching strategies, and methodologies needed to teach vocal music in schools. Special emphasis is placed on selecting age-appropriate vocal literature and helping children to develop healthy vocal techniques. Micro-teaching experiences and field observations will connect theory with practical application.
