NSCI 1043 - NUTRITION SCIENCE

This course provides an overview of nutrition including nutrients, digestion and transport, different nutrition needs as related to life cycle, and how certain disease states affect nutrition status. Also included is interpretation of current USDA nutritional guidelines, and application of nutrition knowledge in the establishment of eating habits.
