MISS 8012 - Contextual Engagement I This course incorporates individualized and contextualized research, reflection, and planning on a current challenge or opportunity related to the Researcher’s missional leadership. Students will collaborate with the course professor to develop theoretically informed, research grounded, and outcome-based strategies and offerings that coherently address relevant missiological problems and possibilities. In this first of three Contextual Engagement courses, students will begin analyzing contextual challenges and opportunities in their missional ecosystems, in light of salient theoretical and empirical literature, for the purpose of discovering the focus and direction of their doctoral project.
