HUMS 5013 - HUMAN FORMATION AND FLOURISHING

This seminar serves as the foundational course of the graduate program in which the critical questions of human formation and human flourishing are explored. Emphasis in this course will be placed on conceptions of human formation and human flourishing throughout Western Civilization in light of the ancient Christian tradition. Particular focus will be placed in the following areas:  1) The formation of the child and 2) The critical relationship between Christology and anthropology as it relates to how we image the child within a given culture.
