BIOL 4223 - PRINCIPLES OF NEUROSCIENCE In this course, students are introduced to the organization and function of the nervous system. Topics covered include neural signaling, channels and transporters, neurotransmitters, synaptic transmission, sensory processing, synaptic plasticity, and memory. Students will also be introduced to pathophysiology of neurological and psychological disorders.
