LDRS 3043 - HOW TO LEAD AN EXTENSION SITE

This course provides an overview of key principles, processes, and practices involved in effectively launching, growing, and sustaining an educational extension site. Students will examine the extension site model, clarify their local site mission and vision, and design localized systems to effectively develop and manage an educational extension site. Students will also consider the functions of managing enrollment, developing a marketing strategy, and overseeing student care and support. Finally, students will investigate best practices of effective extension site directors, including ongoing student recruitment and retention practices, and how to develop a ministry team to help support an educational extension site.
