LANG 2083 - CLASSICA HEBREW NEVI’IM Students will embark on an advanced exploration of Hebrew Nevi’im literature, focusing on the profound contributions of the Jewish Prophets. Building upon the foundational knowledge acquired in Classica Hebrew II, this course aims to further refine your Hebrew language skills by delving into the captivating linguistic and cultural expressions found in the prophetic texts. From the majestic visions of Isaiah to the lamentations of Jeremiah, the narratives of Samuel, the symbolic acts of Ezekiel, and the concise messages of the Minor Prophets, this course invites students to engage deeply with the linguistic nuances, theological depth, and cultural context of the prophetic voices in the Hebrew Bible.
