BIOL 2004 - GENERAL BIOLOGICA I This course cultivates an understanding of the internal design and organization of eukaryotic cellular and subcellular structures. Attention is paid to the structure and function relationships that govern cellular processes at the molecular level. Topics
include organelle and membrane function, cell-cell signaling, cell movement, cell adhesion, the extracellular matrix, energy and metabolism, respiration, and photosynthesis. This course integrates modeling and experimental dialectic laboratory
experiences.
Prerequisite: MATH 1063 Algebra I
