LDRS 1033 - SERVANT LEADERSHIP

This course provides an overall framework for student success in higher education and beyond. It provides students with a way to integrate their Christian faith with every area of academic study. In particular, students are taught a mental toolkit that enables them to identify worldview-sensitive topics in every field of study, contrast secular perspectives with a biblical perspective in these fields, and apply a biblical view with consistency and creativity to each area of study. More specifically, the course also prepares students for success beyond their college years by teaching students biblical principles of self-governance, servant leadership, ownership, proper use of power, perseverance, truth seeking, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Collectively, this course prepares students to think, act, and live wisely and “Christianly” both in their collegiate years and in their future lives and careers.
