TRDS 4003 - SPECIAL TOPICS IN TRADES

The course introduces students to the biblical, ethical, and leadership foundations critical for a successful career in construction technology. While this course will still cover fundamental construction-related topics (project phases, site safety, collaboration, and communication), its deeper purpose is to challenge students to integrate Christian values—such as integrity, servant leadership, stewardship, and vocation—into every aspect of their professional life.
Students will explore how Scripture speaks to work, leadership, responsibility, and excellence. Through case studies, Scripture, and applied reflection, learners will gain the tools to be not only competent trades professionals but also ethical leaders and witnesses in the construction industry.
