Master of Science, Nursing: Administration

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program at Southeastern University prepares nurses to enhance their professional practice in a variety of settings. The program is designed specifically for working nurses and is delivered in a fully online classroom offering two concentration tracks. Each track will lead to new heights in both professional and personal development by providing the education and experience necessary to pursue advanced levels of nursing practice. The MSN program is guided by a faculty of educators with years of professional experience and will provide you with personalized direction and support necessary for your growth in the profession.

The master’s degree program in nursing at Southeastern University is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted.

MSN: Nursing Administration. 

This track is designed to provide current and aspiring nurse managers and clinical nurse leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to guide daily operations in a variety of healthcare settings. In addition to the 12 hours of MSN core curriculum, this track requires 20 hours of additional coursework (7 courses) and at least 200 practicum hours.

 

The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. Grades of less than C- will not be counted toward degree completion.
