A Student desiring to declare a major in either General Biology or Biology/Pre-Medicine must first complete the Pre-Biology Core studies with a “C” or better, and must select the Pre-Biology Program for freshmen and sophomores until these courses have been successfully completed. Some of these courses are cross-referenced as General Education Core Requirements.
Major Core - 50 Hours
Students are required to earn a grade of “C” or better in all Biology courses.
Biology Core Studies - 12 Hours
Biology Specialization - Minimum of 20 Hours from the Following:
Chemistry and Physics - 18 Hours
Students are required to earn a grade of “C” or better in all Chemistry and Physics courses. General Electives - 6 Hours
Total Program hours - 123 Hours
