Master of Business Administration, Global

Program Description

Southeastern’s global MBA programs offers students the chance at once-in-a-lifetime learning experiences around the world. We are committed to the idea that servant leaders can be world changers, and our global MBA programs prepare you to be just that. Learn from some of the world’s greatest visionaries at our National Leadership Forum.Through our Christ-centered curriculum, you will gain the skills necessary not only to succeeding in business but also to making ethical decisions in the workplace. Christian principles are the core strength of our courses, from marketing to accounting and economics to corporate finance.

Our esteemed business faculty, your most valuable resource at Southeastern, is committed to modeling these principles. They have spent decades working in the banking industry and major accounting firms, starting and running their own businesses, selling and marketing retail, working in information technology and serving in the military. All the knowledge and wisdom they gained through their careers is at your disposal, presented through the Christian worldview that all our faculty members share.

One of the unique features of our MBA program is our partnership with the Disney Institute. You can choose to participate in the Disney Institute’s five-day “Disney’s Approach to Business Excellence” course, covering topics in leadership excellence, people management, quality service, brand loyalty, and creativity and innovation. During this course, you will stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, attend informative training sessions and experience your learning firsthand as a WDW park guest.

Business Strategy & Policies

Comparison to Executive Leadership MBA Track:

  • MBA Foundations – Basic accounting, finance, and economics; case analysis and writing; Excel, in depth, delivered face to face; rather than online MBA Principles course.
  • Global Social Entrepreneurship – 8 days in early January to El Salvador – highest rated course last year; in place of online Human Resource Management.
  • Managerial Economics with Dr. Bowlin; rather than online Leadership Philosophy. Provides better tools for business development.
  • Disney Excellence or second International trip versus typical Executive Leadership track elective of online Leading Across Cultures.
  • Business Strategy & Policies – delivered 8 weeks face to face, versus the online 16 week capstone for the other online programs; 36 hour program total versus 39 hour total for the online or flex MBA. Option to do additional international course work.

Closer contact with faculty and other students who you will be working with over the course of your program, delivered at night; and the general learning advantages of face to face versus the online format.

The minimum grade requirement for all MBA courses a ‘C-‘. Students are required to complete the degree program with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above upon graduation.
