Through the Legal Studies degree, students will explore the multifaceted field of law and justice. The program’s core curriculum provides the framework necessary for specific areas of law. With two concentration options, students can choose from either a paralegal focus or a pre-law school emphasis. The paralegal track introduces students to the logistical aspects of a law office and basic administrative skills of a paraprofessional. The pre-law route integrates legal theory and practical application, preparing students for graduate studies. In addition, students have 25 credit hours of free electives, providing them with flexibility to pick and choose from other disciplines.
