Program Description
The Associate in Worship Ministries (AWM) is a two-year, associate program that provides essential and foundational training for worship ministry opportunities. Student musicians are engaged in a broad and rigorous educational experience that will sharpen musical and leadership skills, while simultaneously formulating a biblical and Christian worldview. All courses are transferrable into Southeastern’s Bachelor of Science in Worship Ministries.

Applied Lessons 4 Hrs
Students will take 4 hours of applied lessons.
MUAI 1121 Worship Guitar Applied Lesson, MUAK 1131 Worship Piano Applied Lesson, and MUAV 1141 Worship Voice Applied Lesson can each be repeated for credit up to 5 times. Students should take the majority of their applied lessons in the areas where they are weakest.
General Electives - 8 Credit Hours
Extension students participate in on-site Worship Ministerial Practicum each semester over a two year period (PMIN 1542 Worship Ministerial Practicum I, PMIN 1552 Worship Ministerial Practicum II, PMIN 2542 Worship Ministerial Practicum III, and PMIN 4552 Senior Worship Ministerial Practicum). These courses count as general electives.
