Program Description
The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership – Orange Family Ministry concentration is a graduate level program that allows students to study, comprehend, and utilize the Orange strategy in their local ministerial contexts and other major ideas/concepts pertinent to leadership in the local church. Students who complete this program will be able to:
- Integrate the practice of leadership with biblically informed values
- Demonstrate collaborative and effective problem-solving skills using multidisciplinary approaches
- Apply acquired multidisciplinary concepts, skills and principles to actual leadership situations
- Analyze and synthesize knowledge of leadership models, human development, and communication theories into effective systems of praxis
- Research contemporary issues in leadership to provide practical solutions, and communicate results through clear, concise and appropriate media
- Comprehend different models of family ministry and apply the Orange Family Ministry model in their local ministerial context
The maximum number of C grades allowed in a graduate program is two and the minimum GPA requirement is a 3.0. Grades of less than C- will not be counted toward degree completion.
