Master of Business Administration, Global

Program Overview

Southeastern’s global MBA programs offers students the chance at once-in-a-lifetime learning experiences around the world. We are committed to the idea that servant leaders can be world changers, and our global MBA programs prepare you to be just that. Learn from some of the world’s greatest visionaries at our National Leadership Forum. Through our Christ-centered curriculum, you will gain the skills necessary not only to succeeding in business but also to making ethical decisions in the workplace. Christian principles are the core strength of our courses, from marketing to accounting and economics to corporate finance.

Our esteemed business faculty, your most valuable resource at Southeastern, is committed to modeling these principles. They have spent decades working in the banking industry and major accounting firms, starting and running their own businesses, selling and marketing retail, working in information technology and serving in the military. All the knowledge and wisdom they gained through their careers is at your disposal, presented through the Christian worldview that all our faculty members share.

One of the unique features of our MBA program is our partnership with the Enlace.  Enlace is an organization that uses business as missions to help pull the people of El Salvador out of poverty.  As a participant in their one week intensive course, you will get to go to El Salvador to experience their mission in action.  The class will focus on creating solutions for a quadruple bottom line that includes a spiritual, economic, social, and environmental transformation.

The paper should include the student’s full name and be 300-600 words in length.
  • Two recommendations: An academic or a professional, and a personal/character, submitted by those providing references.
  • Fulfillment of foundational knowledge requirements (see the Foundational Courses and Competencies, below). A determination of any prerequisite requirements will be made at the time of the admissions decision.

In order to ensure student success, three foundational courses are required for students without an undergraduate degree in a business-related field. Students are also expected to be competent in Microsoft Excel prior to beginning MBA course work (Microsoft Excel Basic Certification or equivalent is the recommended minimum).

  • BUSI 2203 - Microeconomics or an assigned online economics academic leveling course.
  • BUSI 1013 - Introduction to Accounting and Finance, or BUSI 2233 - Principles of Managerial Accounting, or an assigned online accounting academic leveling course.
  • CTIS 2133 Data Management and Analysis - foundational competencies in using Microsoft Excel for MBA course work.

  • Should an applicant be admitted provisionally due to pre-requisites, he or she must complete the missing coursework with a B- or better or earn a score of 80 or better on an appropriate academic leveling course for each missing pre-requisite to transition from provisional admission to regular standing.
