Bachelor of Arts, Graphic Design- Four Year Plan  

Program Description

The Graphic Design degree emphasizes the principles and best practices of graphic design. The core includes courses focused on digital design, typography, color theory, web development, UI/UX design, drawing, and photography. Students also select a number of design electives, such as courses on digital imaging, advertising design, illustration, and more. Students critically analyze and produce various designs in courses, practicums, and as part of portfolio and capstone projects.

Potential Career Options 

Potential career options for those pursuing this degree include graphic designer, digital designer, UI/UX designer, web designer, photo retouching specialist, creative director, art director, layout designer, advertising designer, motion graphic artist, digital illustrator, and other graphic design-related careers.

Students who demonstrate proficiency at the Intermediate B level may take 6 additional hours of General Electives.
