NURS 3203 - TRANSITION TO THE BACCALAUREATE NURSING ROLE


This course explores the BSN competencies, which differ from those of a nurse holding an associate degree. The course will focus on a deep understanding of the changing U.S. health care delivery system, including its relationship to nursing theories, standards and scope of practice, and roles and responsibilities of the nurse. The role of the nurse in policy development and political action at the employer, local, state, and national levels are emphasized.

Prerequisite: Student must be Current RN in the State of Florida and accepted into RN-BSN Bridge Program
