About the Catalog Year

Program requirements at Southeastern University are reviewed and updated annually. A new undergraduate and graduate catalog is published each academic year, beginning with the Fall semester and concluding at the end of the following Summer term.

Students are held to the degree requirements of their catalog year — the academic year in which they first enrolled at SEU. For example, a student who began coursework in Spring 2026 is assigned to catalog year 2025, since that Spring term falls within the 2025-26 academic year.

Students may choose to adopt the current catalog year at any time. It is the student's responsibility to review the degree requirements for their declared catalog year and to work with their academic advisor to ensure they are meeting those requirements.

If you are unsure which catalog year applies to you, see your degree audit in MyPortal (JICS).
