SOWK 4223 - INTEGRATING FAITH & SOCIAL WORK THEORY AND PRACTICE This course will prepare students to integrate their faith dynamically and ethically with social work practice. The course will explore how diverse spiritual traditions impact and define clients’ experiences and address the importance of religion and spirituality as an integral aspect of addressing client needs. Students will be encouraged to develop spiritual practices to sustain their own callings and a personal understanding regarding how to integrate Christian thought, values, and principles with professional ethics and practice.
