NURS 4243 - TRANSITION INTO PROFESSIONAL NURSING PRACTICE This capstone course provides an opportunity to prepare for practice as a registered professional nurse and explore leadership roles in healthcare settings. The course explores concepts associated with leadership such as interpersonal communication, conflict, change, strategic decision making, team building, power, politics and influence, and delegation. Building upon the competencies developed in the previous semesters students will hone their clinical judgment in a variety of nursing situations. The students will prepare for the licensing process and the NCLEX examination.
